1. Purpose & Vision

Slangit through its different platforms is committed to transforming education through safe, ethical, and empowering AI integration in schools. This policy governs the responsible and secure use of AI capabilities within Slangit aiSTART, ensuring that technology enhances—not compromises—learning outcomes, values, safety, or integrity.

– Protect users from exposure to inappropriate, harmful, or biased content.
– Ensure full compliance with international data protection and child protection standards.
– Promote a culture of digital literacy, accountability, and ethical AI awareness.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all users of aiSTART including students (grades 4-12 including their equivalency as per local curriculums provided at education institution), educators, IT teams, and administrators. It covers all AI systems, AI tools, and content in addition to dashboards containing analytics.

5. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Students: Use AI for learning, avoid misuse and inappropriate content.
  • Teachers: Use AI for planning and feedback, validate outputs, avoid sole AI grading.
  • Administrators: Use AI for analytics, ensure oversight and consent for tracking.

6. AI Usage Boundaries per Feature

  • AI Tools: For specific lessons
  • AI Content: For specific lesson.

  • Predictive Analytics: Trend analysis only.
  • AI Assistants: Educational use only for specific use cases.

7. Data Privacy & Security Standards

All data encrypted and protected. No commercial use or profiling. Full GDPR compliance
or as required by local laws in country of execution.

8. AI Model Bias & Auditing

Models tested for cultural and demographic bias. Users can request logs, rationales, and explanations.

9. Digital Citizenship & AI Literacy

  • Students: Learn safe use, detect bias.
  • Teachers: Engineer prompts, ethical classroom use.
  • Administrators: Analyze impact, ensure compliance.

10. Disciplinary Protocols

Inappropriate prompts, cheating, hate speech result in escalating consequences from warnings to access revocation and administrative action.

11. Human Oversight Required

AI is support—not decision-maker. Human intervention mandatory in all final decisions.

12. Review, Versioning, & Consent

Policy may be reviewed every 6 months for changes and shall be immediately shared with changes if any. However, a policy refresher will be provided every 6 months regardless of any changes.
